Amazon Business — the B2B marketplace of eCommerce giant Amazon — shared March 13 that the platform is now available in Mexico.
The expansion marks the 10th country that Amazon Business now operates in, joining the United States, Germany, Canada, Spain, France, India, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Amazon Business noted that Amazon Mexico has nearly 18,000 national sellers — 99% of which are small- and medium-sized companies with more than 3 million products listed and generate over 57,000 direct and indirect jobs.
These sellers now benefit from Amazon’s eCommerce expertise, gaining visibility into their entire product catalog in an established online store and greater access to business customer decision-makers to help increase sales.
Sellers in Amazon Business in Mexico now gain benefits that include exclusive business pricing on thousands of products, single and multi-user corporate accounts, and dedicated customer support.
“We are excited to enable businesses in Mexico to simplify their sourcing process so they can focus on what is most important to them,” Amazon Mexico Country Manager Pedro Huerta said in a news release. “We are also committed to growing small businesses by enabling sellers — through our B2B store — to expand and grow by selling directly to large companies.”
