Cloud-based ERP and e-commerce provider NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), San Mateo, CA, has agreed to acquire Durham, NC-based Bronto Software Inc., a privately-held cloud-based commerce marketing company, for $200 million.
The acquisition will combine Bronto Software's commerce marketing automation platform with NetSuite's cloud-based omnichannel platform.
"Just as customers demand seamless cross-channel shopping experiences, they increasingly expect companies to communicate consistently through all of their digital experiences – on site, at stores, in email or through social or mobile," said Zach Nelson, NetSuite CEO.
