On Dec. 28, Atlanta-based White Cap Supply Holdings announced a new corporate partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. White Cap said the purpose of the partnership is to support the foundation’s mission to “inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees,” according to a company news release.

White Cap said teams will participate in planting trees provided and distributed through the foundation’s Community Canopy program. Volunteers and the foundation will take part in an urban community tree planting event that will be held next year in Atlanta.

“Environmental sustainability is a commitment at White Cap,” said CEO John Stegeman. “With the release of our inaugural sustainability report, we detailed the actions we take to minimize our environmental impact as a business. Supporting organizations like Arbor Day Foundation is one of the many ways we can do our part in creating a sustainable future.”
