Tacoma, Washington-based MRO distributor Stellar Industrial Supply said Oct. 31 is has acquired Southern California-based One Way Industrial Supply, the company’s 11th acquisition in the past 15 years.
Financial details were not disclosed. Stellar said the deal strengthens its presence in the Los Angeles metro area as well as the state’s Central Valley region.
One Way Industrial Supply is headquartered in Goleta, California, and has warehouses and distribution facilities in San Luis Obispo and Ventura. The company offers items ranging from metal cutting tools and assembly tools to sophisticated quality control equipment and facilities and storage items, Stellar said in its announcement.
“California boasts the world’s 4th largest economy, moving recently ahead of Germany,” said Stellar Industrial Supply President and CEO John S. Wiborg. “We are excited to expand our presence in this vital region with the acquisition of One Way Industrial Supply, who has well served this region since 1973. With its latest deal, Stellar now has 16 regional hubs in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Florida.
On Oct. 11, Stellar announced it had acquired Longmont, Colorado-based Triad Tooling.
