Grand Rapids, Michigan-based SalesPad announced on Monday that it has re-branded the company as Cavallo. Cavallo said the new name better reflected its focus for delivering on-premises and cloud solutions specifically for mid-market distributors.
Along with the new brand launch, Cavallo also announced it will roll out its new Distribution Cloud platform for distributors in the fourth quarter of this year. Privately held Cavallo’s Distribution Cloud platform includes cloud-based products, distribution analytics and workflow management tools.
“The distribution industry has changed more in the past five years than it had in the previous 20 and the pace of change is accelerating. Since our founding we have helped our customers achieve dramatic operational and financial gains by providing tools that just work for distribution,” said Mike Biwer, chief executive officer of Cavallo. “As we listened to our customers considering a move to the cloud, it was clear that today’s leading ERP and CRM providers were not meeting distributor-specific needs.”
