Wisconsin-based packaging products distributor Uline wants to open a new distribution center in Kenosha, Wisconsin, according to local media reports.
The company has requested that several parcels of land be rezoned from agricultural to heavy manufacturing so that Uline can construct the 1.4 million square-foot center there, Kenosha News reported.
The rezoning is subject to a public hearing and final approval by the Kenosha Common Council, the newspaper said.
According to its website, Uline has 13 locations and more than 9,000 employees in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
The company recently finished construction on a 915,750-square-foot distribution center in Naples, Florida.
