Green Bay, Wisconsin-based fastener distributor Packer Fastener announced March 29 that is has relocated its Chippewa Valley branch from Menomonie, Wisconsin to its new location at 5845 Venture Drive, Suite 1 in the nearby city of Eau Claire.
Packer Fastener said the location is open to all customers, with company sales staff serving original equipment manufacturers, commercial construction, fabricators, machine shops, and maintenance/repair operations.
Products include threaded fasteners, struts and abrasives, industrial safety materials, personal protective equipment and welding supplies, the company said.
“The new location provides more convenient, central access for our customers throughout the region,” said Terry Albrecht, Packer Fastener CEO. “And the increased warehouse space in our new building will help ensure that inventory is readily accessible when needed.”
The announcement comes six months after the company said it would add a new branch location in the Twin Cities area.
The Packer Fastener family of companies — which includes Packer Fastener and logistics provider Packer Freight and Chicagoland-based Albolt Manufacturing — announced promotions for four key executives in February.
In June 2022, the company announced plans for a Rockford, Illinois location.
