On Nov. 1, West Chester, Pennsylvania-based wire and cable products master distributor OmniCable announced it has hired Nikki Douglass as Director of Sales, Datacom Business Unit. In her new role, Nikki will be responsible for leading a team of Datacom Sales Specialists to support the OmniCable sales team, the company announced on LinkedIn.

OmniCable launched its Datacom Business Unit back in July. Douglass’s hire comes four weeks after the company announced a new VP of Enterprise for the DataCom business unit. OmniCable says it now has a dedicated team to focus on low-voltage and communications products with distributors.

“I joined OmniCable because I was aware of their best-in-market sales team and operational services as a past customer through the years,” Douglass said. “I also fully believe OmniCable’s culture fits my mission and values perfectly, putting our people, customers, and vendors first,” she added.

Douglass has more than 30 years of experience in the Datacom industry. Prior to OmniCable, she spent 18 years with CSC/Wesco, leading the New York City Datacom business for nine years.
