On Dec. 6, Roselle, Illinois-based JanSan distributor Jon-Don announced the additions of a new CEO and new Chief Sales Officer.
Jon-Don said Jay Davisson is company’s the new CEO, while Steve Porter is being welcomed as Chief Sales Officer.
“The updates to the leadership team reflect the company’s continued growth trajectory and as it expands to serve contractors across a variety of industries,” the company said in its announcement.
Jon-Don is listed among MDM’s 2022 Top JanSan Distributors.
Davisson most recently was CEO at AMES Taping Tools and previously held several progressive leadership roles at Sherwin-Williams.
“I am very excited to join the team and continue to build upon Jon-Don’s solid foundation of providing world class service to thousands of specialty contractors nationwide,” said Davisson.
Porter most recently worked as Chief Operating Officer of Ruprecht/Kilcoy Global Foods. Before that, he spent nearly 25 years at Grainger leading the “largest sales team in the U.S. in his final role,” Jon-Don said.
