On Sept. 8, JanSan and foodservice supply distributor Imperial Dade announced the acquisition of Blainville, Quebec-based Ralik, a distributor of paper goods, packaging materials and other safety and janitorial products.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition marks the 72nd deal for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis.
“I enthusiastically welcome Ralik to Imperial Dade,” said Jason Tillis. “Ralik has a loyal customer base and a laser focused commitment to providing an unparalleled customer experience, making the business a great addition to our growing North American platform.”
Founded in 1997, Ralik has a management team consisting of three entrepreneurial brothers Ali, Hamdi and Shoukri Mustafa, who have “promoted a customer centric culture that is evident in the strong relationships and growth over the years,” Imperial Dade said in a news release.
“Imperial Dade is a market leader with a strong culture and differentiated service quality, and we are excited to join their family,” said Ali Mustafa, CEO of Ralik. “Under the leadership of Bob, Jason, and Stephane we believe this partnership will strengthen our customer and supplier relationships.”
With leveraging Imperial Dade Canada’s market leading platform, the company said that Ralik customers can expect the same customized service and an even greater offering of products and solutions.
The Ralik acquisition is the 10th M&A deal for Imperial Dade so far in 2023. Last month, Imperial Dade announced the acquisition of industrial and janitorial products distributor The Ohio & Michigan Paper Company.
