Tulsa, Oklahoma-based BlackHawk Industrial — a distributor of metalworking, industrial, MRO and packaging supplies — acquired Pinnacle Tool & Supply, a value-added distributor in the cutting tool and abrasive space from Toledo, Ohio.
Financial details were not disclosed.
BlackHawk said the acquisition significantly increases its operational footprint in the Ohio region and enhances the company’s service capabilities in a large manufacturing market.
Pinnacle also operates under the brands W. Lewis Sales and Industrial Metalworking Supply in Solon, Ohio.
“Over the past several years we have worked tirelessly to increase our national exposure and are all very proud of how far we’ve come,” said John Mark, president and CEO of BlackHawk. “This acquisition is another strategic move to extend our market presence in the region and offer our unique capabilities to serve our customers’ mission critical production needs. The addition of the Pinnacle team truly bolsters our ‘Big Enough to Serve – Small Enough to Care’ service model.”
In November, BlackHawk acquired Dayton, Ohio-based Tools for Industry and its affiliate, Service for Industry.
