Indian River Consulting Group’s (IRCG) weekly Pandemic Revenue Index for the work week of Sept. 21 to Sept. 25 indicated a 0.7% decrease compared with the same week a year ago. When looking at average daily sales, this is the first decrease since the beginning of August (the period of Sept. 7-11 was a four-day week versus a five-day week in 2019).
IRCG’s distributor Pandemic Revenue Index gives distributors a weekly quantified view into how other distributors in the industry are faring as the global COVID-19 pandemic progresses.
“Seven companies reported decreases with four of them being double digit decreases,” said Mike Emerson, IRCG partner. “One index participant was flat and of the four companies that saw increases, the range was from 13% to 36%, so there is still a fair amount of variance among the participants.”
