Sonepar USA, a Charleston, South Carolina-based subsidiary of Sonepar Group, recently announced that Cory McCulloch has been named President of North Coast Electric. McCulloch’s promotion from executive vice president coincided with Mike Miller stepping down as President.
Miller will continue to be active in the company by managing a key project while assuming the title of Senior Vice President, Customer Distribution Network. Miller is leading a project to build a new CDC in the state of Washington. Sonepar says that project represents a significant capital investment for the company and is a key element of its business strategy.
McCulloch has been with North Coast for 35 years and has worked his way up the company ladder.
“It is an honor and privilege to assume the role of President at North Coast. I began my career as a driver and worked my way up through the company, working in almost every position,” he says. “I am committed to implementing our 10-year plan and continuing to steward North Coast to an even brighter future.”
Last year, electrical distributor Sonepar USA made several changes to its executive leadership team including Scott Schuenke as VP of strategic development for Sonepar North America.
