Crescent Electric Supply, an independent distributor of electrical hardware and supplies based in East Dubuque, Illinois, announced Thursday that Edwin Ojeda has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Industrial.

Ojeda will be responsible for industrial category sales growth and will lead the development and deployment of a standardized sales process and support team, creating greater consistency and an enhanced solution-driven approach to working with customers.

Crescent is ranked No. 11 on MDM’s Top Distributors list for electrical, data and security distributors.

“Edwin has an impressive track record of partnering with customers, and driving business growth and employee development,” Crescent CEO Scott Teerlinck said. “He also has earned a reputation for community involvement and service. For these reasons and many more, Edwin is an excellent fit for Crescent, and we are excited to have him join our team.”

Prior to joining Crescent, Ojeda worked at Brady Corporation, Honeywell and, most recently, as senior vice president of sales and marketing for DRG Technologies.

Crescent has more than 130 branches in 26 states and serves contractors, original equipment manufacturers and the maintenance, repair and operations needs of commercial, industrial, institutional and utility customers.
