Crawford Electric, a Houston-based electrical distributor and subsidiary of Sonepar, announced it has hired Tony Glynn as vice president of logistics. Glynn is responsible for improving the overall logistics functionality at Crawford, starting with creating a central distribution center in the Texas market.
He will also develop and track warehouse KPIs, create processes around warehouse leadership programs and enhance the customer experience through strategic delivery programs, according to Crawford.
Glynn has more than 20 years of experience as a logistics and supply chain leader, working for both retail giants and supply chain solutions providers. Prior to joining Crawford, he was director of distribution for DistributionNOW for almost 13 years.
“Tony brings great depth and industry experience in technology and supply chain management and has a proven track record for delivering sustainable results,” said Mike Dumas, president of Crawford. “I am confident that his methodical approach and skill in formalizing processes will strengthen our vendor partner and customer relationships. We are fortunate to have him on our team.”
Glynn earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management from St. Francis University.
