Memphis, Tennessee-based International Paper announced March 1 it has rebranded to align with its strategic vision to “Build a Better IP” through sustainable, profitable growth and accelerated value creation. The rebranding coincides with the company celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2023.
The new branding is rooted in the company’s legacy of safety, ethics and stewardship, according to a news release.
“IP is meeting today’s needs for renewable, fiber-based packaging and pulp while sharpening our focus on the future,” International Paper Chairman and CEO Mark Sutton said in the release. “As we embark on the next 125 years, we are here for what’s now and creating what’s next for our stakeholders.”
The new branding will be implemented globally starting this month and includes an updated website, which will launch soon, according to the release.
International Paper also reported its 2022 full-year financials earlier this year. The company had net sales of $21.16 billion in 2022, up from $19.36 billion in 2021. Net earnings of $1.5 billion in 2022, however, were down from $1.75 billion in 2021.
