Nearly a year after being acquired by wood products distributor Woodgrain, Huttig Building Products has rebranded under the Woodgrain banner as the company aims to become a singular entity.
The rebrand went into effect April 3, according to a news release, with the combined company now known as Woodgrain. Legacy Huttig locations have joined Woodgrain’s Distribution Division.
“While the name is changing, we honor the proud heritage of Huttig Building Products, dating back to 1885,” Woodgrain Distribution Division President Todd Dame said in the release. “We celebrate Huttig’s long history as a leading distributor of millwork and building materials. Additionally, we are pleased to add the tremendous experience and deep knowledge of our Huttig teammates across a variety of product categories to Woodgrain’s leading millwork operations.”
Woodgrain acquired Huttig — a distributor of millwork, building materials and wood products with operations in the U.S. and Chile — in May 2022 in a $350 million deal.
