Indian River Consulting Group’s (IRCG) weekly Pandemic Revenue Index for the work week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 indicated a 4.8% increase compared with the same week a year ago. The eccentricities of the calendar are unlikely to have impacted the reported growth as both weeks in 2019 and 2020 included the last day of the month.
IRCG’s distributor Pandemic Revenue Index gives distributors a weekly quantified view into how other distributors in the industry are faring as the global COVID-19 pandemic progresses.
“Seven companies reported increases with five of them being double digits,” said Mike Emerson, IRCG partner. “The high was 32%. Of the four companies that saw decreases, the range was from less than 1% to 18%, so there is still a fair amount of variance among the participants.”
