Indian River Consulting Group’s (IRCG) weekly Pandemic Revenue Index for the work week of Feb. 22 to Feb. 26 increased 13% as the PRI nears its one-year anniversary and, therefore, its conclusion.
The sample size for the week’s Index was 13 firms. Seven respondents reported increases with three greater than 50% while six companies saw declines ranging from 3% to 11%.
“Next week will be a complete year since the world changed during the second week of March 2020,” said Mike Emerson, IRCG partner. “This will be the penultimate publishing of the PRI. After next week, year-on-year sales change will have much less meaning as our baseline will no longer be before the pandemic.”
IRCG’s distributor Pandemic Revenue Index gives distributors a weekly quantified view into how other distributors in the industry are faring as the global COVID-19 pandemic progresses.
