Global PPE distributor Protective Industrial Products Inc. (PIP) announced Feb. 27 it has appointed Mark Mazurkiewicz as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Mazurkiewicz will be based out of PIP’s headquarters in Latham, New York.
Mazurkiewicz previously served as CIO for industrial manufacturer Alkegen, where he was responsible for driving strategic use of global information technology, digital services and business intelligence. Mazurkiewicz received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a concentration in computer science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
“We are excited to have Mark join our Executive Leadership team,” PIP President and CEO Curt Holtz said in a news release. “As our new CIO, Mark’s extensive background in a large multi-national company combined with his experience in acquisition integration will make him a valuable addition as we continue to expand our presence around the world.”
