Distribution ERP software provider Tribute promoted Thomas Knoebel from Chief Operating Officer to President.
Knoebel started at Tribute as a developer in 1990, and later progressed to Development Manager in 2020 and then COO in 2023. Now, he will steer strategic planning and enhance the functionality and features of Tribute’s software offerings.
Knoebel replaces Tribute’s former president, Susie Hopper, who retired from the company on May 14.
“Susie Hopper’s retirement left big shoes to fill. Tom is, without a doubt, the best person to step up and shepherd the company forward. I’m incredibly happy to see someone with 30+ years in Tribute operations take on this important role,” Volaris Group Portfolio Group Leader Cristina Wheless in a May 29 news release. Volaris acquired Tribute in 2019. “Tom understands our customers, our employees, and our technology. He’s a leader with a unique combination of integrity, empathy, and credibility within this industry.”
Tribute’s software specializes in engineered products, fluid power, fluid handling, hose and accessories, along with automation and motion control industries. It assists mid-sized companies in streamlining business processes and overall operations.
