Midwest electrical, plumbing and HVAC distributor Dakota Supply Group recently announced the addition of two new executives.

On Aug. 30, Stephan Fulop joined DSG as its Chief Digital Officer. He will be responsible for “leading an ongoing digital transformation at DSG, differentiating their customer experience, and harnessing enterprise data to drive the organization as a leader in the industry,” the company said in a news release.

Before DSG, Fulop most recently served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Capabilities at Optum, where he scaled consumer personalization, launched a new website and mobile app, and blended the online and in-person care management of end users. Fulop also served in corporate management at Target Corporation, where he led technical architecture initiatives, optimized the end-user online shopping experience, and drove targeted advertising and other significant digital marketing projects.

MDM’S SHIFT Conference, Sept. 18-20 in Denver, brings together distribution leaders to learn and network across topics of sales & marketing, digital transformation, data analytics and talent management. Find more info here.

“We are thrilled to welcome Stephan as the newest member of our executive leadership team.” said Paul Kennedy, DSG’s President and CEO. “His digital expertise and emphasis on collaboration is the perfect combination to help drive our digital transformation and our business into the future.”

In addition to Fulop, Michael Honnoll has joined DSG as Regional General Manager of Minnesota. He will be responsible for the strategy, growth and “continued development of this region within our footprint and will be responsible for providing direct leadership for all branches in Minnesota,” DSG said.

Prior to DSG, Honnoll’s most recent experience was with Ferguson as Director of HVAC & Hydronics. His expertise in managing cross-functional teams through change and accelerated growth through expanding product lines and enhancing the customer experience will help lead the region forward, DSG said.

“Minnesota is in great hands to lead the region into its future,” said Mike Meiresonne, DSG’s Chief Operating Officer. “His people-first mindset greatly aligns with our core values and our purpose-driven growth strategy in multiple segments.”
