Roofing and other building materials distributor Beacon appointed Jonathan Bennett to President of its North Division, effective Jan. 1.
The current head of that division, J. Jake Goas, will assume the role of Executive VP and Chief Commercial Officer.
Bennett will continue to serve as Beacon’s Executive VP and CCO until the effective date.
Beacon recently acquired Chicago Metal Supply & Fabrication (Chicago, IL), completed Sept. 10 and SSR Roof Supply (Canada) and Passaic Metal and Building Supplies (Clifton, NJ), both completed Aug. 2.
The company was No. 5 on MDM’s Top Distributor’s List for Building Materials/Construction.
