On April 14, procurement and supply chain solutions provider AFFLINK announced that longtime President and CEO Dennis Riffer plans to retire. Riffer, who has been with the company for over 20 years, will be “staying on for a while” to assist in the transition, according to a news release.
“It’s been a great ride, and I’m extremely proud of what we accomplished during my time here,” Riffer said in the release. “Growing this business into what it is today has been one of my most treasured accomplishments, and I would never have been successful without everyone’s support and friendship along the way. I have truly been blessed.”
Riffer has spent much of his career in the professional cleaning industry, particularly in distribution. His previous roles include Director of Global Accounts at Scott Paper and General Manager at Kimberly-Clark.
“AFFLINK has been my life for over 20 years,” Riffer said. “I’m leaving at a time when its continued growth trajectory looks strong and positive.”
Tuscaloosa, Alabama-based AFFLINK — a subsidiary of foodservice distributor Performance Food Group — provides supply chain solutions to distributors in the industrial packaging, facilities maintenance/MRO, foodservice, safety and office supply industries. The company’s annual summit, which will be held on June 8 in Palm Springs, California, will honor AFFLINK’s 50th anniversary as well as Riffer’s retirement.
