Metalworking and MRO supplies distributor BlackHawk Industrial appointed Anthony DeSalvo as General Manager of the company’s Great Lakes Region.
DeSalvo joined BlackHawk in 2014 as a customer service representative and later progressed to account manager, where he handled major accounts and built national relationships. During his tenure, BlackHawk said DeSalvo held roles that emphasize his leadership, operational expertise and commitment to customer success.
“Anthony’s entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership will energize our Great Lakes team,” said Trent Moss, BlackHawk’s VP of Sales – East, in a Jan. 7 news release. “His ability to tackle complex customer challenges with innovative solutions embodies BlackHawk’s mission to be ‘Big Enough to Serve, Small Enough to Care.’”
In his most recent position as regional customer service representative, DeSalvo managed operations across several branches, oversaw a $59.6 million sales region and led a team of 28 employees.
Tulsa, OK-based BlackHawk previously announced the appointment of Jay Costa to General Manager of the company’s Manufacturing group on Dec. 19 and the appointment of Jay Dykstra and Chad Patterson as Sales Managers for the company’s Lake Michigan region on Dec. 3.
Prior to these changes, BlackHawk appointed Marco Morgado as General Manager of the company’s Northeast Region on Nov. 21.
The company was No. 34 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Industrial Supplies, and No. 15 for MRO.
