HVACR, plumbing, PVF and industrial supplies distributor Winsupply announced Dec. 4 that it has acquired Milford Companies, a distributor of PVF and waterworks supplies based in Justin, Texas. Terms were not disclosed.
In business since 1972, Milford supplies materials and rental equipment for customers’ infrastructure needs across five locations in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Winsupply noted that Milford Chief Operating Officer Chase Brown will continue leading the company going forward as President.
“It’s truly rare to find two businesses that share each other’s core values, like Milford and Winsupply,” Brown said in a news release. “Milford has been part of my family for three generations, so I didn’t take it lightly when we decided to find a partner. We had the privilege of exploring various options during this process, and Winsupply stood out as the clear choice to carry our legacy forward. From our first meeting, it was clear that our business styles were nearly identical. We are confident that this partnership will not only preserve the rich history of our business but also pave the way for many more generations of entrepreneurial success.”

With the acquisition complete, Milford CEO Shawn Beard will continue play a pivotal role in the business as an actively involved leader and member of Winsupply’s board of directors.
It’s just the second acquisition Winsupply has announced in 2023, coming two months after it shared the news of adding Keidel Supply, a Cincinnati-based plumbing, cabinetry, lighting, appliance and PVF distributor.
On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors List, Winsupply charted at No. 8 for industrial supplies; No. 4 for HVACR; No. 3 for Plumbing; and No. 6 for industrial PVF.
