Fuels, lubricants and greases distributor Waring Oil Company acquired Lavigne Oil Company of Baton Rouge.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
For over 50 years, Lavigne Oil has been a distributor of fuel in the Baton Rouge area. The company supplies over 100 million gallons of fuel annually to clients across the Southeastern U.S.
Waring Oil said the acquisition will expand the range of services provided to customers and increase the company’s presence across Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and now Louisiana.
Kevin Cutrer will remain with Waring Oil in the role of outside salesperson. All fuel tanks previously owned by Lavigne Oil will now be owned by Waring Oil.
