Valin Corporation — a distributor of technical products in the technology, energy, life sciences, natural resources and transportation markets — announced Oct. 17 that it has acquired process control and fluid handling product distributor Jensen Instrument Co., based east of Los Angeles in Azusa, California. The deal was effective Sept. 16.

Established in 1925, Jensen Instrument Co. specializes in instrumentation and control products for flow, pressure, temperature, and level requirements.

In a news release, Valin noted that the addition of Jensen bolsters its process control and fluid handling product portfolio in Southern California and Nevada.

“The company’s reputation in the marketplace is very well respected, and we’re looking forward to expanding our process control and fluid handling knowledge while improving our offering to our customer base,” said Dave Helfer, Valin president.

San Jose, California-based Valin had $125 million in 2021 total revenue.
