Specialty building materials distributor US LBM has acquired L.D. Mullins Lumber — a Riveria Beach, FL-based building products distributor. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Mullins Lumber, founded in 1946, will operate as part of US LBM’s Raymond Building Supply. Scott and Lev Mullins will continue to run day-to-day operations.
“The entire Mullins Lumber team is looking forward to the great opportunities our partnership with US LBM will generate for our associates, customers and the community,” Mullins Lumbers’ VP Scott Mullins said in an Aug. 1 news release.
Buffalo Grove, IL-based US LBM now operates 18 locations in Florida, including the Mullins Lumber site.
“South Florida continues to be a growth market for new construction, and the addition of Mullins Lumber and their great team allows us to augment and expand our operations and support for builders in the area,” US LBM President and CEO L.T. Gibson said.
The JIAN Group served as the exclusive advisor to Mullins Lumber in this transaction.
