In early October, United Flow Technologies (UFT) announced it had completed the acquisitions of three providers of products and services to the municipal water and wastewater markets throughout the United States: Kodru-Mooney, Macaulay Controls Company and Iowa Pumps Works. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
United Flow Technologies, a portfolio company of global alternative investment firm H.I.G. Capital, said in an Oct. 5 news release that the acquisitions will accelerate its strategic entry into new geographies, product categories, and OEM partnerships.
As part of the transactions, UFT will partner with the existing leadership teams of each business to support their individual growth initiatives within an integrated and operationally cohesive UFT, officials said.
