Five days after acquiring a German-based glass packaging provider, TricorBraun announced the acquisition of plastic packaging distributor and manufacturer Plas-Pak WA based in Perth, Australia. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition extends the packaging distributor’s Australian footprint to Western Australia. TricorBraun first established its footprint in the region with the acquisitions of Cormack Packaging in 2021 and PB Packaging in 2022.
Plas-Pak WA provides an range of plastic packaging components for customers in Australia and New Zealand across several industries, including food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, agriculture, chemical and industrial.
Effective immediately, Plas-Pak WA will operate as Plas-Pak WA, a TricorBraun company. All Plas-Pak WA employees will remain with TricorBraun and continue to work out of the company’s Malaga, Perth location.
Since its founding, TricorBraun has acquired 42 packaging companies globally.
