Building materials distributor SRS Distribution Inc., McKinney, Texas, announced it has acquired Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son Inc., a distributor of commercial and residential roofing and other related products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan, and founded in 1916, LTO is currently run by Jamie Ollesheimer. The company operates 12 locations across four states (Michigan, Indian, Ohio and West Virginia) and employs around 80 people. Ollesheimer will continue to lead the company under the LTO banner.

“We have known Jamie for many years and are incredibly proud he has entrusted SRS with the business his family has spent generations building,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution. “LTO is one of the oldest and largest independent roofing distributors in the Midwest, and its commercial roofing presence will be a strong complement to our residential roofing footprint in the region. On behalf of the SRS family, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Jamie and the entire LTO team. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together.”

Added Ollesheimer: “I am pleased to announce that LTO will be joining the SRS family of independent roofing distributors. It was important to me to find a company to partner with that has a lot to offer to our most important asset, our people! SRS provides competitive benefits programs, the ability to be a shareholder, and a greater opportunity for advancement for all employees. I am lucky to be surrounded by such a fantastic team and am thrilled to see what we can do with the support and resources of SRS.”
