McKinney, Texas-based building products distributor SRS Distribution Inc. announced Friday it had acquired Marvic Supply Company, a residential roofing and construction distributor in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
SRS ranks No. 6 on MDM’s Top Distributors list for building materials and construction distributors, with $3.8 billion in revenue in 2020.
“We are truly honored to welcome the entire Marvic team to the SRS family,” SRS President and CEO Dan Tinker said. “The company is one of the most well-established independents in the Northeast and has earned a reputation as the preeminent distributor in the Philadelphia metro area. In order to preserve and extend the legacy the Company has earned over its extensive history, we plan to rebrand several of our existing branches in the market to Marvic.”
Marvic runs seven locations across southeastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey and employs a team of 98 people.
SRS operates under a family of distinct local brands spanning more than 490 locations across 44 states.
