Latham, New York-based personal protective equipment company Protective Industrial Products, Inc. has acquired Bisley Workwear, a provider of work and safety wear based near Sydney, Australia.
PIP — a leader in hand protection and PPE for the industrial, construction, mining and retail markets — announced Friday it had signed an agreement to acquire DJG Corporation Pty Ltd., Bisley’s parent company.
The deal is expected to close towards the end of December. Financial terms were not disclosed.
PIP said Bisley is “widely recognized for innovative workwear designs and its ethical and sustainable sourcing affiliations.”
“The Bisley brand will add new portfolios of innovative workwear and safety garments to the head-to-toe PIP product offering in different regions, including North America,” said Joe Milot, PIP’s president and CEO. “This addition reinforces our key objective of serving customers globally by continually providing them with more opportunities for growth.”
