Fluid power, automation and industrial supplies distributor Motion & Control Enterprises acquired North East Technical Sales, Inc. (NETS).

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but this is MCE’s 16th acquisition since the start of 2023.

Harleysville, PA-based NETS is a distributor of instrumentation & control solutions. Established in 1973, the company serves industrial and municipal customers across southern and metro New York, eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia.

“For 51 years, NETS has represented leading flow control suppliers and has successfully served industrial and municipal customers in the Mid-Atlantic region,” MCE Chairman & CEO Charles Hale said in a Dec. 2 news release. “This acquisition expands our growing flow control footprint and positions the combined business to provide an even more comprehensive suite of highly-engineered solutions to our valued customers.”

MCE’s other most recent acquisition was of three ParkerStore locations — Williston, ND, Sioux Falls, SD and Sidney, MT — from Motion & Flow Control Products.

Zelienople, PA-based MCE was No. 42 on MDM’S Top Distributor’s Industrial Supplies and No. 9 for Fluid Power.
