JanSan and foodservice supply distributor Imperial Dade on July 7 announced the acquisition of Atlantis Packaging.
The transaction represents the eighth of the year for Imperial Dade, coming just days after the New Jersey-based company acquired Lovan Industries and Trip F Distributing. It also marks the 67th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, Chairman and CEO of Imperial Dade, respectively.
Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Owned and operated by Eric Rodriguez, Atlantis Packaging is a distributor of industrial products throughout Southern California and the United States. Rodriguez’s father founded the business over 50 years ago.
By leveraging Imperial Dade’s platform, Atlantis customers across North America can expect a greater offering of products and solutions, Imperial Dade officials said in a news release.
“This acquisition reinforces our focus to strengthen our presence in key growth markets to ensure our customers receive the highest quality service,” said Jason Tillis.
Imperial Dade was listed as a top JanSan distributor on MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors List with a 2022 revenue of $4.9 billion.
