Ohio-based holding company GNCO, Inc. announced Dec. 29 its acquisition of FMH Material Handling Solutions, a distributor of material handling products. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1978, FMH is a commercial equipment dealership headquartered in Denver and has additional locations in Albuquerque and El Paso. FMH specializes in material handling products such as forklift trucks, pallet jacks, loading dock equipment and pallet racks.

FMH joins GNCO’s portfolio, which consists primarily of companies within the equipment distribution industry.
“FMH Material Handling Solutions is a business with a long history of success,” GNCO president Matt Adams said. “We are excited to be part of its future growth story. This acquisition will make us a stronger, more diversified company geographically and strengthens our OEM partnerships.”
FMH will remain under local management and committed to its vendors, suppliers and customers in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, according to a news release.
