Woods Cross, Utah-based packaging supplies provider Flexpak LLC has completed its acquisition of Thornton, Colorado-based Preferred Packaging Products, Inc., according to a Feb. 6 announcement from private-equity firm Shorehill Capital LLC.
Preferred distributes corrugated, custom foam, poly bags, wood crating, bubble, stretch wrap, tapes and labels.

We look forward to continued growth in Colorado and expanding the set of specialized capabilities offered to Preferred’s customers.”

Flexpak’s acquisition of Preferred is “consistent with its strategy to expand its geographic presence throughout the Mountain West region of the United States,” Shorehill Capital said in its announcement.

In July 2022, Flexpak expanded its presence in the Mountain West region by acquiring ACE Packaging, a distributor and supplier of packaging products headquartered in Phoenix. One year earlier, Shorehill Capital announced its plans to make a strategic investment in Flexpak.
