Fischer Process Industries, Loveland, Ohio, has acquired primary pump and rotating equipment company Frakes-PumpWorx, Indianapolis. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Frakes-PumpWorx specializes in modern techniques to make repairs to pump and rotating equipment, including a 24/7 field-and-service option.
FPI said it acquired Frakes-PumpWorx, in part, to offer an integrated service operation near Indiana’s largest city. FPI distributes pumps, valves, and process equipment in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Georgia and Alabama.
“This latest acquisition of Frakes-PumpWorx in Indianapolis, Indiana, is perfectly aligned with our strategy of offering superior pump and rotating equipment service to customers in our Indiana market areas,” said FPI President Ken Fischer.
