The M&A binge continues for JanSan and packaging supplies distributor Envoy Solutions, which announced Feb. 10 its acquisition of Mooney-General Paper Company (MGP), a distributor of packaging supplies in Hillside, New Jersey. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

MGP marks the fourth acquisition of 2023 for Envoy. The Glenview, Illinois-based company made two acquisitions — Delta Packaging & Supply and Royal Paper Corp. — in January before acquiring Detroit Chemical & Paper Supply Company last week. Envoy, listed among MDM’s Top JanSan Distributors last year, made 16 acquisitions in 2022.

Founded in 1917, MGP is a distributor of supplies and equipment for industrial packaging, foodservice and food packaging, and sanitary maintenance. MGP has been a supplier for businesses in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania for over a century.
