Another day, another acquisition for Envoy Solutions.

The Glenview, Illinois-based JanSan and packaging supplies distributor announced Feb. 6 its acquisition of Detroit Chemical & Paper Supply Company (DCP), a distributor of cleaning and sanitary products based in Warren, Michigan. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

It’s already the third acquisition of 2023 for Envoy, which acquired Mississippi-based Delta Packing & Supply on Jan. 9 and Royal Paper Corp., a paper distributor in Southern California, on Jan. 23. Envoy’s fast start in 2023 builds on the 16 acquisitions the company made in 2022.

Founded in 1978, DCP provides cleaning and supply products — such as hand care, liners, equipment and paper — to industries including healthcare, sports, entertainment and general industrial.
