Endries International Inc., Brillion, Wisconsin, on Thursday announced the acquisition of fellow Wisconsin fasteners distributor K&L Sales Inc. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
K&L was founded in 1985 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, by brothers Dave and Tom Knebes on the foundation distributing riveting products and associated installation tools.
Today, the company’s offerings have expanded to include a full line of fasteners including many proprietary brands. In addition, K&L offers vendor managed inventory solutions and an installation tool repair center. The company is now based in Hartland, Wisconsin.
“Endries is thrilled to welcome K&L into our family,” said Steve Endries, president of Endries. “Dave and Tom have built an organization that possesses a tremendous amount of industry knowledge and experience that is centered on customer service. We look forward to collaborating with our new team members to improve our overall market offerings.”
In addition to its headquarters location in Brillion, Endries operates nine U.S. and international distribution centers. The company provides more than 500,000 SKUs to its customer base and operates primarily through a vendor managed inventory model, managing C-part categories for its customers across diverse industrial end markets.
