DXP Enterprises, Inc. announced Sept. 2 its acquisition of Sullivan Environmental Technologies, Inc. — a Kentucky-based manufacturer of pumps, valves and process equipment that primarily serves the municipal and industrial water and wastewater industries of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
“Sullivan is a unique, well-run business focused on providing equipment and services to customers in the municipal and industrial water and wastewater market,” DXP Chairman and CEO David R. Little said in a news release. “We have had a successful year in scaling our water and wastewater efforts via acquisition and we look forward to Sullivan adding to an already growing and successful end market for DXP.”
It’s the fourth acquisition of 2022 for Houston-based DXP Enterprises, which ranked No. 23 among industrial distributors in Modern Distribution Management’s 2022 Top Distributor list. DXP acquired Drydon Equipment, Burlingame Engineers and Cisco Air Systems earlier this year.
“We are having a successful year rebounding and growing through acquisition,” DXP CFO Kent Yee said. “Sullivan is another example of DXP adding experienced, technical sales teams that complements previous acquisitions. The Sullivan team is another great addition to DXP and our water and wastewater portfolio.”
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
