Sidney, Ohio-based electrical and industrial wholesaler Dickman Supply announced Dec. 15 that it has acquired Lyons Electrical Supply Company and Lighting Showroom from the Lyons family in Dayton, Ohio.
The deal marks the fifth location for Dickman Supply and expands the company’s geographical footprint in Indiana and Ohio, Dickman said.
“This is what we like to think of as a win-win for our customers,” said Dickman Vice President Brent Palser.

In its announcement, Dickman said its commercial-based customers will have “closer access to a locally stocked warehouse.”
“Additionally, the retail customers and contractors of Lyons will enjoy an increased selection and expanded services available to them,” the company said.
The consolidation of the Dickman Lighting Showroom (Greenville, Ohio) into the Lyons Showroom has already been completed, the company said. Dickman said operations will remain consistent at the Dayton location, including the Lyons name, personnel and operating hours.
Construction is underway to expand the warehouse to accommodate increased inventory and delivery capacity, Dickman said.
