St. Louis-based Core & Main Inc. (NYSE: CNM) — a specialized distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products — finalized its previously reported deal to acquire the assets of Catalone Pipe & Supply Co., a full-service provider of waterworks products and services, and custom concrete catch basins, based in Penfield, Pennsylvania.
“The acquisition of Catalone Pipe & Supply allows Core & Main to grow our waterworks product offerings in the Northeast region and provide customers with added expertise,” Core & Main CEO Steve LeClair said.
Catalone Pipe & Supply manufactures custom concrete catch basins in accordance with their customers’ specifications, allowing them to lower project costs and increase efficiency on job sites, Core & Main said.
Financial details of the agreement were not announced.
Core & Main ranks No. 1 on MDM’s Top Distributors list for PVF distributors, with $3.6 billion in revenue in 2020.
The company also ranks No. 10 on MDM’s list for top industrial and construction distributors.
