St. Louis-based Core & Main Inc. (NYSE: CNM), a specialized distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products, has closed its previously announced acquisition of CES Industrial Piping Supply.

“The acquisition of CES Industrial Piping Supply expands Core & Main’s fusible HDPE ((high-density polyethylene) product and service offerings in the Midwest,” Core & Main CEO Steve LeClair said. “We are excited to grow our team in that region and provide customers with added expertise in fusible pipe applications.”

High-density polyethylene is durable, corrosion-free and chemical resistant. Its distinctive properties allow for it to be used in a broad range of applications including municipal, industrial, landfill, geothermal and mining.

Core & Main ranks No. 1 on MDM’s Top Distributors list for PVF distributors, with $3.6 billion in revenue in 2020.

The company also ranks No. 10 on MDM’s list for top industrial and construction distributors.

CES is located in Belton, Missouri.

The company offers fusible HDPE pipe, fittings and fusion machines, and serves various markets including the industrial, oil and gas, water, wastewater, wind energy, landfill, mining, environmental and power plant industries.
