West Coast-based foodservice, janitorial and sanitation distributor BradyIFS acquired Seaway Supply Company, a Maywood, Illinois-based distributor and provider of foodservice disposables, janitorial supplies, industrial packaging and cleaning equipment.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.
The acquisition is expected to expand BradyIFS’ presence in the upper Midwest and will open the door to “additional attractive opportunities to cross sell JanSan and foodservice products to enterprise and non-enterprise customers,” the company said.
“We are very excited to become an important part of BradyIFS,” Seaway President Tom Engoren said. “Our passion for customers and associates, and approach to the business, are fully aligned with BradyIFS.”
Headquartered in Bell, California, and Las Vegas Nevada, BradyIFS is one of the largest foodservice and JanSan platforms in North America.
“I want to welcome Tom and the entire team at Seaway to BradyIFS,” said Kenneth Sweder, CEO and chairman and of the board of IFS. “Seaway’s geographic presence, customer and product mix, and culture mesh well with BradyIFS. We are excited to partner with this fine group of dedicated professionals.”
BradyIFS earlier this month acquired Millennium Packaging & Distribution, a San Antonio-based company offering disposables, dry goods, janitorial, cleaning and facility supplies.
