Blue Ribbon Fastener Adds WI Distributor

Illinois-based fasteners distributor Blue Ribbon Fastener expands its VMI and Class C component supply chain network.

Skokie, IL-based fasteners distributor Blue Ribbon Fastener acquired Burlington, WI-based Nationwide Fastener Systems to expand its VMI and Class C component supply chain network to additional OEMs in the Midwest.

For more than three decades, Nationwide Fastener Systems has provided OEM clients with Class C fasteners, inventory management services and other custom solutions. The partnership will support growth for Nationwide customers and provide:

  • A larger portfolio of products and brands,
  • expanded access to technology, data, and research and development,
  • increased resources and additional expertise, and;
  • greater geographical reach across the United States.

“Joining the Blue Ribbon Fastener team gives us access to additional resources to continue to build upon this business that I’m very proud of,” said Deb Lipecki, Co-Owner of Nationwide Fastener Systems.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
