Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco has obtained all regulatory approvals and completed the $60.8 million acquisition of Perceptron that was announced on September 28.
Perceptron is a Plymouth, Michigan-based supplier of automated metrology solutions that employs around 300. In the fiscal year 2020 Perceptron had revenues of $62.3 million. The company will become part of Atlas Copco’s newly created division Machine Vision Solutions within the Industrial Technique business area.
