Swedish industrial manufacturer Atlas Copco said Tuesday it has acquired German distributor of vacuum equipment Eugen Theis GmbH.
The company is a distributor of vacuum equipment and service solutions that serves the German market, Atlas Copco said.
“This acquisition will expand our presence in Germany with industrial vacuum products and services,” said Geert Follens, business area president for vacuum technique. “Eugen Theis is a respected company with experience in consultancy and providing vacuum equipment sales and services, especially in the food industry.”
Eugen Theis, based in Werther, Germany, has four employees.
Atlas Copco did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
The company in August announced it had acquired German company NATEV GmbH, which specializes in position solutions for assembly tools used in industrial production.
